We have reserved 11/2 hours of Dr. Katsarsky's day for you. Please plan to be in our office for about 2 hours. During this time the doctor and his assistant's entire focus will be on you. At this visit the doctor will perform an examination of the involved area, review his findings, recommendations, and your treatment options, as well as answer any questions that you may have. Then, if treatment is required, if time allows, and if you wish to proceed, they will begin the treatment of your tooth. The complexity of the case, condition of your tooth, and the amount of time that elapses before we can begin the treatment, will dictate how many visits are necessary to complete the treatment. Because 11/2 hours of the doctor's time and 2 hours of the assistant's time is being reserved entirely for you, please call the office at least 48 hours in advance if you are not able to keep your appointment.
Your first visit will be a short visit with Dr. Katsarsky and his assistant. At this visit, he will evaluate the area that your Dentist felt may require root canal treatment. This visit should only take about 40 minutes of your time. At this visit, Dr. Katsarsky will perform an examination of the involved area, review his findings, recommendations and your treatment options, as well as answer any questions that you may have. Additionally, if you have any medical conditions that Dr. Katsarsky feels should be reviewed with your Medical Doctor he will arrange to do so. If it appears that root canal treatment will be necessary, then our financial coordinator will review the costs with you, and schedule a visit for you to return for treatment.
If you are not sure what type of visit you have scheduled then please call our office so that we can confirm that you have been scheduled appropriately.
Please complete the “Before Your First Visit Checklist” prior to your first visit regardless of whether your first visit is for a consultation or treatment.
